Tejashree was born in Mumbai, and moved to the US in 2011, to pursue her master’s degree. After spending time in Colorado, California, and Texas, she joined Yelp in 2017.

Oliver was born in the US, and lived in the Carolina’s, Kansas, Wisconsin, and Indiana while growing up. He moved to San Francisco in 2014 when he joined Yelp.

We first met while working at Yelp in 2017, where we both were network engineers. The very first time we met was actually when Oliver was interviewing Tejashree. We remained colleagues and friends for a few years, even staying connected during Covid after our office closed.

We started dating a couple years later, enjoying travel and new experiences together.

In 2023, we both visited Mumbai together, where Oliver met Tejashree’s parents.

And in 2024, we started making plans for our wedding.
